From 1994 to 2000, Steve worked for a US-based
member of a European family of significant wealth, assuming several roles as an extension of the family’s UK-based Family Office, among them managing household staff for multiple US residences, overseeing and reporting on multi-million dollar personal and Trust accounts, coordinating services and information with overseas personnel, overseeing multi-million dollar home and estate purchases and renovations, serving as the family’s US representative to multiple third-party professionals around the world, and single-handedly managing the family’s $22 million US private foundation.

After successfully coordinating the family’s relocation to Europe between 1999 and 2000, Steve started his own business offering select family office services to families and individuals on an independent basis.  In August 2003, Steve merged his business with JDJ Resources.

From 1984 to 1993, Steve held a number of positions with Peabody Office Furniture in Boston, taking on greater responsibility with each successive promotion.  Starting as a receptionist, he worked his way up to the position of Facilities Manager by 1988.  Steve then became the Executive Assistant to the company president in 1991 and in 1993 was appointed Human Resources Manager, becoming the youngest non-family member ever to sit on the privately-held company’s Executive Committee.
